GIGABYTE Milestone of Tree Planting

Since 2009, we have planted 101,899 trees.

The accumulative CO2 absorbed by the trees per year are 509,495~1,018,990 kg-CO2e

  1. The carbon absorption of a tree refers to the data used by the official website of the Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan. The average carbon absorption capability of a tree is 5 to10 kg-CO2 per year.
  2. The data used by Forestry Bureau consider various research results from the Taiwan Forest Resources Survey by Forestry Bureau, the Plant-for-the-Planet Foundation, which is also the partner of GIGABYTE’s tree planting program, as well as other academic surveys in Taiwan.
