To strengthen our industry leadership and protect key technologies, GIGABYTE combined business targets with R&D resources and formulated an intellectual property strategy to create value, enhance our competitive advantage, and boost profits.

• The company has completed revisions to the Intellectual Property Management Plan, Patent Management Regulations, and Confidential Information Management Regulations.
• A systematic patent and intellectual property rights management system has been gradually established.

Implementation Status

On November 14, 2024, the company reported intellectual property-related matters to the 14th Board of Directors during its 6th meeting. Since 2014, the company has actively promoted the Intellectual Property Management Plan. Key implementation highlights in recent years include:

Accomplishments in Obtaining Property Lists

GIGABYTE Technologyʼs Legal and Intellectual Property Division is responsible for overseeing the groupʼs patent application and maintenance efforts. As of 2025, the company has accumulated a total of 3,195 approved patents, and was ranked among the Top 100 domestic patent applicants (including invention, utility model, and design patents) in 2025.
